LUBRICANTS

Are you tired of your water-based lubricant drying out and getting sticky? Make the switch to silicone! You don't have to use nearly as much, and you rarely have to re-apply. Silicone lubes are latex compatible, don't have any scent or taste, and they're an excellent choice for folks with chemical sensitivities. You can use them for sex in the shower or hot tub since they don't rinse off instantly in the water (but they're not absorbed by your body tissues, either).

So is there any down side to using silicone lubes? Well, yeah. If you use toys (dildos, butt plugs) made of silicone, you shouldn't apply silicone lube directly to their surface. Put a condom on them first. Some silicone lubes can stain fine fabrics, so if you have expensive sheets, use extra care. And finally, a few of our customers have complained that their silicone lubes have worked TOO well--if they used too much, they couldn't feel anything. Too slippery! Remember, a little goes a looooooonnng way.

*BRANDY'S BONUS USES: 1)SILICONE LUBE MAKES A SUPER MASSAGE MEDIUM. GIVE IT A TRY.

2)IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A LUBE WRESTLING PARTY (WHO DOESN'T?) DON'T GO INTO HOCK BUYING GALLONS OF LUBE; JUST PUT A COUPLE OF INCHES OF WATER IN THE KIDDIE POOL, AND SMEAR HALF A BOTTLE OF SILICONE LUBE ON THE 2 PEOPLE WRESTLING.

THEY'LL NEVER GET BACK UP:)

WATER BASED LUBRICANTS - WITH GLYCERIN OR GLYCERIN FREE

Water-based lubricants are often considered the most natural lubricants. But "natural" is a buzzword. Just because a lube bottle has the word "natural" on it does not mean it is 100% chemical or irritant free. Water-based lubes must have some kind of preservative in order to remain shelf-stable and safe to use. It's important to be a MINDFUL CONSUMER: ask yourself, "What do I want out of this product? What do I wish to avoid?" Then make sure to read the ingredients list! After all, the product is going to be in direct contact with some very sensitive mucous membranes for an extended period of time.

Some people are extra sensitive to certain ingredients, like glycerin, or parabens (we even have customers allergic to aloe!). So sensitive, in fact, that they can develop yeast or bladder infections if they regularly use a lubricant containing the irritant ingredient. We want you to have more and better sex! If you know you're sensitive, read the ingredients lists carefully and try smaller packages of lube to start. Always do a skin patch test to check for potential reaction BEFORE putting lubricant inside a body cavity.
