Harnesses allow for hands-free penetrative sex with a dildo.
"Thigh" type harnesses can be strapped to a smallish stationary object such as a
pillow or a sofa arm...or, as the name suggests, to your leg! (Some folks have hip
or lower back problems that prevent them from using a pelvic style harness, or may
find them to be too male identified.)
"Pelvic" harnesses come in two designs: "single strap" (or thong) and "two strap".
They secure a dildo to the groinarea--sort of like a penis.
Strap-on Sex Can Be Fun, Raw, Dirty, Sweaty, Tiring, and Excellent. Anyone Can Wear
a Harness; Female Bodies Can Adjust the Dildo so It Rests a Little Lower, around
Their Clit Area. WHILE MALE BODIED FOLKS CAN RAISE THE DILDO A LITTLE HIGHER to AVOID
SMASHING THEIR OWN PENISES.
Remember when choosing a toy to go in a harness that dildos have no nerve endings,
so it can be difficult to tell if they're in or out of a body opening in certain
positions. Do yourself a favor--pick a dildo at least 5 ½ " long. Something too short
will pop out of your partner repeatedly, which is frustrating. It's easier to adjust
your position to accomodate for a slightly longer toy...and keep it in.
Brand-new to this? Try standing up while you're having sex. Have your receiving partner
sit on the edge of a counter or table so you can see where you're supposed to put
your toy; you can easily touch and kiss in that position, and it's less tiring for
most folks than the "push-up" position of missionary sex. :)
